College Ministry

What a blessing that you are investigating our ministry to college students and young adults. God has gathered a very special group of students ranging from freshmen in various majors to those studying medicine and law as well as young adults already working in Gainesville. We have worked to faithfully and thoughtfully respond to those whom God has brought by having prayer and personal interaction in small groups as our "base starting point" of ministry. To put this simply, as our first priority we try to get people in groups praying, sharing, loving, and growing together.

We also have outstanding meals and teaching times on Wednesday nights, weekly times where we serve food and eat with the homeless downtown, go on work trips to New Orleans, go over to someone's apartment and just sing, and of course, listen to Brother E's outstanding messages.

That said, if you come and visit, we know that God will both begin to introduce you to those you can befriend, and He will eventually encourage and prompt you to check out one of our prayer groups (meet throughout the week) or small groups (meet on Sunday night). It will be like Acts 2:43-47 and 4.32-37 all over again, maybe for even for the first time for you! God bless you, and please make time to visit a Sunday or Wednesday soon!

Adult Education

We have bible classes on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for adults. During the Fall and Spring we have at least two classes offered: one that is more of a traditional bible class and one that is more discussion-based.

The goal of our education team is to encourage the church to know God’s word in order to draw closer to him. We try to work our way through every genre of scripture every couple of years.

If you would like to learn more about our bible classes for adults, please contact Eric Brown: ericbrown@campuscofc.org

Children’s Ministry

We have bible classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for toddlers all the way through elementary school. (Middle School and High School-age students are a part of our Youth Group.) The goal of our children’s ministry is to draw their hearts close to God. We pray that our children will finish elementary school knowing the major stories of both the Old and New Testament and know that God loves them.

During our Sunday morning worship service, we have Children’s Church for ages Kindergarten down.
