Church Community

Campus Nursery

Our baby/toddler and preschool environments use First Look, a program designed to give babies and preschool children a first impression of their loving Heavenly Father. The curriculum keeps it simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month long.

Babies are such a gift from God and we want you to know that our staff and volunteers work extra hard to ensure a safe and meaningful experience for babies & toddlers just learning to walk.

 252 Kids

The name 252 Kids comes from Luke 2:52, “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men”.

This is an environment created for our elementary age students (grades K – 5th) that reinforces 3 basic truths that are reinforced each week: I can trust God no matter what, I need to make the wise choice, I should treat others the way I want to be treated. Each month our kids are presented with a virtue that comes to life through Bible stories, skits and small group activities. Children are invited into a small group setting to participate in hands on activities that reinforce the virtue/Bible story and provide an opportunity to discuss life application. Each week kids will receive a take home application tool, called the “God Time” card, so that you {the parent} can continue the discussion at home! Here at Campus we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church! When the kids bring the card back the following week, completed and with a parent signature, they are able to pull a special prize from the treasure box!

To M.O.V.E. students toward connecting with Jesus we are: Motivating them to faith through encounters of love and grace Offering them acceptance where they are Valuing them as God’s child Equipping them to minister according to their gifts

This ministry exists to empower students to know Christ and His ACTIVE power. We strive to mirror kinetic Christian lives—IN MOTION and led by the Spirit. Ministering to the 6-12th grade, parents and other adult leaders serve as teachers, chaperones, mentors and just friends who hang out to build relationships.

One thing we love about our church is that we are located at the heart of downtown Gainesville, and are right down the road from UF’s campus! We are also a short distance from Santa Fe’s Campus. As the college minister at Campus Church, I love that I have the opportunity to meet world changers on a day to day basis and encourage them that God is author of innovation and creativity. I am excited to see the good news really have an everlasting impact on college students. Please join us if this sounds like a community you would like to be a part of!

Next College Lunch is Sunday, March 18 after morning worship.  Come enjoy a home cooked meal with casual fellowship.

  • Hi my name is Julianna and I am hoping to get involved with your church through volunteering! I was wondering when I can possibly commit these hours (I am mostly available on weekends and afternoons) and how I can start getting involved. I am currently taking a class that requires 25 hours and need to have a form signed before Wednesday so any help would be greatly appreciated!
